Prelimminary comments:
There are games which are characterized by random. This was the case of a match where the defending champion did not sho the potential that it prides itself to have (particularly with the weakest teams where, with his "galactic team", achieves heavy defeats and then beaches, well supported by who knows who) and so we imagine the great champion to make Sporting pay for their loss against Ka I and other carousel fairy treats.
To us, a coach should be, above all, a builder of men. That's what we at Sporting have, do and believe. Forming men, is surely instilling values of loyalty, of nobility, of character and manhood. Not feeding players who make their living by hitting adversaries.

Last season, we were approached by a team that was offered to lose to us. We refused, of course, and beat it for a very satisfactory margin.
In Sporting no coach would say no to his opponent colleague, after a draw, refusing the outstretched hand sportingly, that "your team and you are s...". Edifying attitude, indeed, and too late to mend the hand. It's all about people well or poorly formed.
Sporting de Macau refuses both to receive benefits so as to be impaired, as it was the case of this match, against a team that has been overly protected.
Sporting does not give up its principles and, as already Windsor Arch Ka I, is now in first place, our turn will come.
Sporting aligned with:
Juninho goal-keeper
Amancio Goitia, Timba Eder, Oscar Ieong and Chan Pak Chun defense.
Martin Ho, Jorge Tavares, Edgar Silva, and Kaman Law in the midline,
Laplaine Gaspard and Bruno Brito in the attack.
The beginning of the match promptly shows the opponent's strategy, which was to put two attackers in the Sporting area and then prepare the rout that would inflict Sporting a load of goals as declared by the responsible of cheap talk from the other team.
After 2 minutes 33 seconds they had the fortuitous luck to score a goal. Yet, from then on, they never were able to truly threaten the goal of Sporting who promptly responded.
At 7'36" Bruno Brito passed the ball over the keeper, only to be saved by a defender. This originated two consecutive corners in favor of Sporting.
At 20' a raid of restless and powerful Gaspard Laplaine, was fouled inside the box in clamorous penalty that was not marked.
At that time, Tharaanga referee arbitration was manifestly biased. Any split ball, with rare exceptions, was marked against Sporting.
Having to play against two teams, Sporting did not give in and installed itself in the attacking half field.
At 42 'Gaspard Laplaine makes another shot at the goal.
BREAK
46 'Gaspard again Laplaine requires the adversary goalkeeper, specialist in the recent past in making obscene gestures to the bench of Sporting, to grovel at his feet up.
Except for very rare exceptions the opponent is placed outside the Sporting area. Very few times our keeper had to intervene.
Given the upward Sporting and the impossibility of penetration of Benfica attackers, they came to the conclusion that the important thing was to hold the result, and then comes the dramatic period of the game, trying to waste time because by then they just did not want to suffer a goal. It was the surrender after a fortuitous goal.
Patiently Sporting players awaited the end of each "injury" each lasting few minutes.
After 80' another situation of almost goal for Sporting, now with opposing players retreated to defend.
The referee continues to decide almost always in the same direction. An example was that our attacker, Gaspar Laplaine, sped in a rush to the opposite goal. He comes up against a opponent that causes a clash in which both fall. The referee, quickly decides against Sporting. This illustrates the way the game was refereed.
The number of free kicks in favor of Sporting shows the number of fouls committed to halt the Sporting. So it is that after 85'another free kick in our favour is marked, which unfortunately does not reach the destination.
And the game would end in an opponent's desperate situation, the one who would do the Sporting foot the bill through an avalanche of goals.
Conclusion: There is a fellow who is a "man hitter" by nature. The only way he knows how to play is hitting Sporting players. But it's amazing how the Macau referees allow this character to remain unscathed.
They did not win, they just put a fortuitous goal. Winning is dominating the game, is reducing the opponent to zero. This was far from succeeding!Very much the contrary.
Long live Sporting Clube de Macau !!!
